This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.16170 of 2023, dated 24.07.2023 with regard to deposit for a sum of Rs.70,000/- as Nonrefundable deposit to the credit of the District Revenue Officer, Tiruvallur.

2.This condition was imposed, taking into consideration of the illegal possession of 40 sacs of PDS rice by the petitioner. PDS rice is meant for poor public, but that is illegally procured for selling at a higher price.

3.In the said circumstances, this Court is not inclined to modify the condition. Therefore, this criminal miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
