[Order of the court was made by Justice M.M.SUNDRESH] The petitioner is the father of the detenu - P.Parthiban, aged about 17 years. He has come up with this petition seeking a direction to the respondents for production of his missing son.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up, there is no representation for the petitioner.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that on a complaint from the petitioner a case has been registered on 07.09.2016 in Crime No.1132 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent for boy missing and the investigation is still gong on as could be seen from the status report dated 24.01.2018 filed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Thyagaraya Nagar District, Greater Chennai, Chennai City.

4. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed, however, the the 2nd respondent shall continue with the investigation under the supervision of the 1st respondent. Sd/- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar To 1.The Commissioner of Police, Chennai.
