ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to alter the Sections and include the offence under Section 3 of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.478 of 2020 on the file of the second respondent.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent.

3. Based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner herein the second respondent registered an FIR 478 of 2020 for the offence under Section 147, 294(b), 427, 441 and 506(i) of IPC. However, the petitioner made a representation to include the offence under Section 3 of TNPPDL Act.

4. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

material available to attract the offence under Section 3 of TNPPDL Act, the second respondent is at liberty to include the section in the manner known to law.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
