JUDGMENT

[Judgment of this Court was delivered by T.RAJA, J.] When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the appellant fairly submitted that since the appellant unfortunately passed away on 09.05.2021, the appeal has become infructuous. Learned counsel for the appellant has also produced the death certificate of the appellant dated 24.05.2021.

2.Learned counsel for the respondent has filed a memo dated 20.10.2021 stating that the appellant died on 09.05.2021 at Thiruvarur Medical College Hospital.

3.A perusal of the above death certificate of the appellant shows that he died on 09.05.2021 and a memo dated 20.10.2021 has also been filed by the respondent to that effect. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In view of the same, this appeal stands dismissed as abated. Consequently, C.M.P. No.20996 of 2019 stands closed. No costs.
