This matter is taken up today under the caption 'For Clarification".

2. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to file a final report in compliance of the order in Crl.O.P.No.3153 of 2016 dated 26.02.2016 in Crime No.237 of 2016 on the file of 2nd respondent police.

Learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) for the respondent submitted that the case has been transferred to Central Crime Branch, Team-3, Chennai (EDF-II). He further submitted that the only relief sought in this petition is that the respondent has not filed the final report.

5. In such view of the mater, Central Crime Branch, Team-3, Chennai (EDF-II) shall conduct investigation and file the final report within a period of six(6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
