Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to issue a passport to the petitioner, by considering his Application No.TR5065438250123 dated 06.06.2023 within the time limit to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has applied for a passport Vide Application No. TR5065438250123 dated 06.06.2023 and seeks a direction to the Passport Authority to consider his Application to issue a passport. 2.Mr.K.Gangadaran, learned Central Government Standing Counsel takes notice for the first respondent.

3.Mr.N.Muthuvel, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice for the second respondent.

4.This Court now directs the first respondent to consider the Application of the petitioner in accordance with law and take a call on the same within a period of eight (8) weeks from today. He is also required to hold an enquiry granting the petitioner a right of hearing, if he requires any clarification in the matter.

5.The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. 2/4
