ORDER
Challenge has been made to the docket Order of the trial Court directing to reconstruct the records in S.T.C.No.1782 of 2006 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Salem.
2. The records are said to have been lost while transferring the records from Judicial Magistrate Court No.IV, Salem to this Court, when a quash petition has been filed before this Court in Crl.O.P.Nos.15612, 15613 and 15614 of 2005. Therefore, the trial Court had Ordered for reconstruction of the records. Challenging the same the present petition has been filed on the ground that no permission has been obtained from this Court to re-construct the case records.
3. At the outset, this Court is of the view that such a contention has no legs to stand as the power of the Courts is inherent to reconstruct the records
lost in its custody. In such view of the matter, I do not find any merits in this petition.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 29-08-2025 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes vrc
