N.Punniyamoorthi Respondents Prayer:- This Writ Petition has been filed, under Article 222 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to delete the name of the 2nd Respondent in the provisional selection list, dated 20.11.2019 for the post of PG Assistant in Commerce, reserved for the BCT Category in Notification No.10/2019, dated 12.06.2019 and consequently, to issue a revised provisional selection list for the subject Commerce by including the name of the Petitioner who belongs to BCT category for the post of PG Assistant in Commerce pursuant to the Notification No. 10/2019, dated 12.06.2019 in compliance with the order dated, 24.01.2020 in WP.No.33575 of 2019 and issue appointment order to the Petitioner as PG Assistant in Commerce.

ORDER

1. This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to delete the name of the 2nd Respondent in the provisional selection list, dated 20.11.2019 for the post of PG Assistant in Commerce, reserved for the BCT Category in Notification No.10/2019, dated 12.06.2019 and consequently, to issue a revised provisional selection list for the subject Commerce, by including the name of the Petitioner, who belongs to BCT category for the post of PG Assistant in Commerce pursuant to the Notification No.10/2019, dated 12.06.2019 in compliance with the order dated, 24.01.2020 in WP.No.33575 of 2019 and issue appointment order to the Petitioner as PG Assistant in Commerce.

2. This court heard the learned counsel on either side and considered their submissions and also carefully perused the materials placed on record.

3. A copy of the proceedings dated 19.04.2022 of the 1st Respondent is placed before this Court. On perusal of the said proceedings, it is seen that the 1st Respondent has already sent a selection order, by selecting the Petitioner also for the post of PG Assistant in Commerce, as per the Notification No.10/2019, dated 12.06.2019, for the year 2018-19 and thereafter, it is for the User Department to issue the appointment order to the Petitioner.

4. Since the Petitioner's grievance against the Teachers Recruitment Board 2/4

cannot be resolved, nothing remains to be considered any further in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed, as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected MP is closed.
