ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent/Police to complete the investigation and to file a final report in the Cr.No.88 of 2025 on the file of the respondent-Police as expeditiously as possible.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, the respondent-Police registered a case in Crime No.88 of 2025 on 15.03.2025, for the offences under Sections 420 and 465 of the IPC as against the accused persons. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Cuddalore vide order dated 16.11.2024, in C.M.P.No.13231 of 2024 directed the respondent-Police to conduct preliminary enquiry and file a final report 2/4

within a period of two weeks. Despite the directions of the learned Magistrate, the respondent-Police has not filed the charge sheet till date. Hence, the petitioner is constrained to file this criminal original petition.

It s submitted by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent-Police that investigation was over and the relevant document has been sent to Forensic Science Laboratory for examination and awaiting for the FSL report. Hence, the respondent-Police is directed to file a charge sheet after receipt of report from the FSL.

5. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
