This petition has been filed by the accused to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.6465 of 2012, on the file of Fast Track No.II, Egmore, Chennai.

2.Both side counsel present. They have represented that after filing of this petition, the case in C.C.No.6465 of 2012 has been transferred to the Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Saidapet on the point of jurisdiction. But so far, the case was not taken on file in the new Court.

3. Considering the aforesaid submission, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. It is open to the petitioner to file a fresh petition after numbering of the case before the Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Saidapet.
