This petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.287 of 2018 registered by the first respondent police for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 506(1) of IPC, as against the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor Submitted that pending this petition, the first respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

completed the investigation in Crime No.287 of 2018 and filed a final report and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C.No.9 of 2020 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ponneri. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition became infructuous.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
