Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to grant patta in favour of the petitioners based on their representation dated 16.10.2023.

O R D E R

The petitioners herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation dated 16.10.2023 seeking issue of patta in respect of the land in which the petitioners have been residing for the past 35 years.

2. A perusal of the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 16.10.2023 would indicate the petitioners have not given details of the land in which they are residing. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to issue a 2/6

direction to consider the bald representation submitted by the petitioners without necessary details. However, it is open to the petitioners submit a fresh representation before the second respondent seeking issue of patta in respect of the property in their possession within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If any such fresh representation is given, the second respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders, on its own merits, within a period of 8 weeks thereafter.

3. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
