ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to implement the G.O.Ms.No.146, Transport (C) Department, dated 30.11.2015 and to revise the pay scales of the petitioners in the pay scale of Rs.7500-250-12000 with a grade pay of Rs.4900 and to effect the further revision of pay scales and to direct the respondents to revise pay scale and to compute the retiral benefits taking note all the revision of pay scales and to consequentially direct the respondents to pay the arrears of gratuity, pension, commutation, leave liability and re-fix the rate of pension of the petitioners.

2. Heard Mr.J.Pradeep, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mrs.S.Pavithra, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioners joined the service of the respondent Management as Assistant and Senior Assistant respectively. Thereafter, they were promoted as Superintendent and Senior Superintendent. The Government introduced the Government pattern pay scales for the Administrative Supervisors vide G.O.Ms.No.63, Finance (D) Department dated 05.02.2010. The petitioners made a representation seeking the benefits conferred in the above Government Order. Thereafter, another Government Order has been issued in G.O.Ms.No.146 dated 13.11.2015 for revision of pay scale for the post of superintendent. Since the petitioners have retired prior to the passing of the above Government Order, the benefits were not given to the petitioners. The petitioners made representation in this regard. But, it was not considered by the respondents so far.

4. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that if short time is given, the representation of the petitioners will be considered and orders will be passed.

In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed and the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 30.07.2019 on the basis of the above Government Order and pass appropriate orders subject to their eligibility within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
