ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking a direction to the respondent to dispose of C.C.No.2804 of 2014 pending on the file of the XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC and charge sheet has been filed and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.2804 of 2014.

He further submitted that chief examination of P.W.1 to P.W.4 has been completed but after that, the bundle has not seen the light of the day for the past 1-1/2 years. Hence, the above petition has been filed for the above stated relief.

3.Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4.Considering the rival submissions, the learned XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.2804 of 2014 within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on day-to-day basis. The respondent is also directed to produce the witnesses whenever the Court directs.

5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
