This Contempt Petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 08.03.2021 made in W.P.No.29802 of 2012.
2. When this contempt petition is taken up for hearing today, Mr.M.Kalyanasundaram, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, though the order has been passed by this Court on 08.03.2021 granting only eight weeks to comply with that order, so far the orders have not been complied with.
3. However, Mr.S.Silambanan, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents would submit that, as against the said order of this Court dated 08.03.2021, an intra-Court appeal has been filed in W.A.No.3113 of 2021, where, a Division Bench of this Court has granted an order of interim stay of the judgment passed by this Court and a copy of the same also dated 12.01.2022 has been produced before this Court for perusal.
4. In view of the said order passed by the Division Bench, where, the judgment itself has been stayed by order dated 12.01.2022, this Court feels that, the present contempt petition can be closed as of now, of course, with a
liberty to the petitioner to revive the same, if any need arises in future, that too, depending upon the outcome of the decision to be made by the Division Bench in the said pending writ appeal in W.A.No.3113 of 2021.
