The present Miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 10 days in filing the appeal against the order passed by the Metropolitan Magistrate/Fast Track Court III, Saidpet, Chennai in C.C.No.8342 of 2018 dated 22.05.2023.

2. Though notice was served and the names of the respondents were printed in the cause list, however, none appeared on their behalf.

3. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and post the main case for admission.
