O R D E R

This Criminal Revision has been filed challenging the order dated 13.02.2023 passed in Crl.M.P.No.43575 of 2022 on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate for Exclusive Trial of CCB and CBCID Metro Cases, Egmore,

Chennai, thereby dismissing the petition filed under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. seeking a direction for registration of an FIR.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint. However, it was not taken for consideration and as such, the petitioner filed a petition seeking a direction under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. for registration of the FIR.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

4. A perusal of the complaint reveals that the petitioner, who is the mother of the accused, had lodged a complaint as against her son and daughterin-law. The entire allegations are civil in nature with regard to the property and money transactions between them. Therefore, no prima facie case is made out to constitute any cognizable offence. As such, the Trial Court rightly rejected the petition filed under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C, seeking a direction for registration of an FIR.

5. In view of the above, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality

in the order dated 13.02.2023 passed in Crl.M.P.No.43575 of 2022 on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate for Exclusive Trial of CCB and CBCID Metro Cases, Egmore, Chennai. Accordingly, this Criminal Revision Case stands dismissed.
