By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking the relief of issuing a Writ of Mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to direct the second respondent to receive the application of the petitioner dated 12.12.2015 in Form CCPA and the prescribed fee for the grant of autorickshaw permit and to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.J.S.Arunkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.R.M.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to receive the application of the petitioner dated 12.12.2015 and consider the same and pass appropriate orders for the grant of autorickshaw permit, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
