The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for alleged offences punishable under Sections 120B read with 420, 467, 468, 471 of IPC and 13(2) read with 13(1)(d) of the PC Act in Crime No. not known of 2022 on the file of the first respondent, seek interim anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is alleged to have involved in money laundering through outward forex remittances from Syndicate Bank-now Canara Bank, Chennai. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that Interstate Anticipatory bail may be granted to him to enable him to move to the appropriate jurisdictional Court in New Delhi for necessary relief.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant inter-state interim anticipatory bail to the
petitioner for a period of eight weeks from today to enable him to move to the concerned Court.
5. Accordingly, interim interstate anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioner for a period of eight weeks, on condition that the petitioner shall surrender before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Sendurai, Ariyalur, within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy made ready and the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said learned Magistrate. Further, within six weeks from the date of execution of bail bond, the petitioner shall approach the competent Court in New Delhi and seek appropriate relief. 28.09.2022 nr
