ORDER
The present petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.515 of 2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Vellore Taluk Police Station in Vellore District.
2.The said First Information Report had been registered for offence under Sections 147, 341, 294(b), 355, 323, 506(ii) IPC. It had been registered on complaint given by the 3rd respondent herein. There appears to have been dispute between the petitioners and the 3rd accused on several issues. One of them was with respect to construction of house and the other one was with respect to grazing of cows in the lands and the third one https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
was with respect to use of unparliamentary language abusing the defacto complaint.
3.Naturally, these incidents also resulted in a counter complaint being given by the petitioners herein which resulted in registration of First Information Report in Crime No.514 of 2016 by the same Police Station namely, the Inspector of Police, Vellore Taluk Police Station, Vellore District. 4.It is informed that pursuant to investigation, in Crime No.514 of 2016 a final report had been filed and taken cognizance as Spl.S.C.No.65 of 2018 and now it is pending before the Principal Sessions Court Vellore. It would only be therefore appropriate that investigation is also done with respect to First Information Report in Crime No.515 of 2016. 5.With the above observations, the present Criminal Original Petition is dismissed, giving a direction to the 2nd respondent / the Inspector of Police, Vellore Taluk Police Station, Vellore District to conduct investigation with respect to the allegations in Crime No.515 of 2016 and file a final report within a period of three months, at any rate, on or before 31.01.2022. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
