This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 13.07.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.
2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Sundarrajan, Kishore and Jagadeesan, stating that the said persons collected Rs.7,30,000/- from the petitioner's father by stating that they would get M.Pharm seat in International Medical University, Malaysia for the petitioner but they neither get M.Pharm seat for the petitioner nor repaid the amount. Though the complaint was given as early as on 13.07.2015, till date no action was taken. Hence, the present petition has been filed.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to give a fresh complaint to the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Salem, along with a copy of this order within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Salem, is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner and upon enquiry, if the materials are gathered indicating any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law.
5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
