(Order of the Court made by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.) This Civil Miscellaneous Petition is filed seeking to condone the delay of 212 days in filing the above Writ Appeal.

In the Affidavit filed, nothing relevant has been stated about the reasons for the delay. There is only an averment in the Affidavit that the staff were engaged in the Flood Relief work and therefore, further action could not be pursued. The Affidavit further proceeds to state that a letter was addressed to the Office of the Government Pleader in January 2016. The order in W.P.No.23110 of 2015 was passed on 17.08.2015. Therefore, even at the time of addressing the letter, there was a delay. The particulars regarding the total staff also have not been given.

Though, it has been stated that after obtaining the opinion of the Government Pleader, the present Appeal has been filed, the opinion so obtained and the time taken thereafter, are not indicated.
