ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation

in Crime No. 710/2021 and file a Final Report within the time frame fixed by this Court.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that a referred charge sheet is filed in this case as further action dropped and that RCS notice is yet to be served on the defacto complainant.

In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to serve the RCS notice to the defacto complainant within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is left open to the defacto complainant to work out his remedy before the appropriate court by filing a protest petition.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of in the above terms.
