ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conferencing) The petitioners who are arrayed as A1 to A4 in C.C.No.152 of 2016 has filed this petition seeking for quash.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed anticipatory bail petition before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.11614 f 2015 and this Court by order dated 29.06.2016 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and this matter was referred to the Mediation Centre for compromise and also appointed Mr.N.R.Elango, Senior Counsel as Mediator in this case. The Mediation was held on 18.06.2016 by Mr.N.R.Elango, Senior Counsel. In the Mediation, the petitioners as well as the defacto complainant agreed to settle their issues amicably between them on certain terms and the terms were fulfilled and the Mediation Report dated 18.06.2016 is produced.

3. Since the dispute between the petitionerse and the defacto complainant now amicably resolved and compromised between them. The petitioners and the defacto complainant filed Joint Affidavit dated 27.06.2016, which forms part of Crl.O.P.No.11614 of 2016 and recorded.

4. Considering the submissions and as per the guidelines of the Apex Court the offences are compoundable, further the dispute between the petitioners and the defacto complainant having amicably resolved and compromised between them. Continuation of the proceedings in C.C.No.152 of 2016 would amount to abuse of process of the Court.

5. In view of the same, the petition seeking quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.152 of 2016, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thiruvannamalai is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
