The above Petition is filed to withdraw and transfer HMOP.No.4 of 2023 pending on the file of Subordinate Judge, at Ponneri, Tiruvallur to the Sub Court, Alandur, Kanchipuram District. 1/4

2. Reasons for seeking the transfer are as follows:- (i) The petitioner/wife is not being maintained by the respondent/husband.

(ii) The petitioner/wife is residing with her parents at Sholinganallur, Chennai.

(iii) The petitioner/wife finds it very difficult to travel all the way from Sholinganallur to Ponneri for every hearing, as the distance between the two places is considerable.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

4. In the above circumstances the request for transfer appears reasonable. Therefore, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and HMOP.No.4 of 2023 pending on the file of the Subordinate Judge, at Ponneri, Tiruvallur is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Sub Court, Alandur, Kanchipuram District. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
