This petition has been filed to direct the respondent namely, the Inspector of Police, Chengalpattu City Police Station, Chengalpattu to return the two wheeler vehicle bearing Regn.No.TN 19 L 5764 to the petitioner which is kept illegally by him.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner, on suspicion, was stopped by the respondent police and the vehicle was seized. Thereafter, the petitioner was produced before the concerned Court and the petitioner admitted his guilt, paid a sum of Rs.2,000/-. Thereafter, the vehicle was returned to the petitioner on 03.03.2017.
3. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Therefore, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
