ORDER

(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Tamilvanan, learned Government Advocate (Puducherry), who is directed to take notice on behalf of the respondent.

2. The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to issue Permanent Integrated Certificate dated 24.9.2013 and renew the permanent integrated certificate No.PY/TOT/16/000 5272 dated 31.3.2014 on the file of the second respondent.

The case of the petitioner is that he born on 4.5.1963 at Karaikal and belongs to Hindu Valluvan community and as such his children were issued scheduled caste certificate as an origin of Puducherry and it was renewed periodically and whileso, when his daughters had applied for renewal of their integrated certificates, it has not been considered by the authorities and hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, there is a similar certificate issued by the very same authority in respect of another daughter of the petitioner and the same is also placed on record and therefore, there would be no impediment in considering the present case of the petitioner also.

5. Learned Government Advocate (Puducherry) also would contend that the respondent-authorities will consider all the documents which are produced by the petitioner in this regard and consider the case of the petitioner.

6. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the case of the petitioner and do the needful in issuing the certificate sought for, after verification of the records produced by the petitioner, within fifteen days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is for the petitioner to submit all the necessary documents in this regard to the said authority. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
