Heard Mr.V.P.K.Gowtham, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents. By consent of the learned counsel for both sides, the writ petition is taken-up for final disposal.

The petitioner, claiming himself to be a devotee of Arulmighu Sellandiamman Temple, situated in Kunnathur Road, Perundurai Taluk, Erode District, has come forward with this writ petition directing the second respondent to expedite the action in M.P.No.51 of 2013, which is a petition filed by the Assistant Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Endowments, before the second respondent, for removal of encroachment in the temple property.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that a reasonable time may be granted to the second respondent to enquire into the matter and pass orders.

Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the petitioner, after issuing notice to all concerned and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
