ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 17.11.2021 for the offences punishable under Section 147, 148, 294 (B), 323, 324, 341, 342, 363, 506(ii) of IPC, subsequently altered to offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 341, 364(A), 365, 330, 348, 346, 342 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.503 of 2021, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused are alleged to have kidnapped the defacto complainant's son and also abused and assaulted him and caused criminal intimidation. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and a false case has been foisted against them out of political vengeance. Hence, he seeks bail to the petitioner. Hence, as they were in Judicial Custody from 17.11.2021. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Government Advocate would submits that the petitioner has committed heinous crime and has political influence and the investigation is at initial stage and if the petitioner is released on bail, they would threaten the defacto complainant. Furthermore, some of the accused were still absconding. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegations against the petitioner and also taking note of the fact that the investigation is at initial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
