This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in F.I.R No.603 of 2021 dated 08.08.2021 pending on the file of the second respondent police. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police may be directed to file final report in Crime No.603 of 2021, for the offence under Section 174(3) of IPC on the file of the second respondent police.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.603 of 2021 and for the same, investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks eight weeks time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4.Recording the same, the 2nd respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
