This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that under the pretext of enquiry, the respondent police is unnecessarily harassing the petitioner.

3. The learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, submitted that the complaint given by one Anand has been forwarded to Assistant Commissioner of Police, Tambaram for enquiry.

4. Recording the submissions of the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Tambaram is directed to enquire into the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant without harassing the petitioner. 2/4
