ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to reissue the passport to the petitioner by considering his application No.TR1075364410123 submitted before the first respondent on 16.05.2023.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is the passport holder and his passport has been expired for which he made an application before the first respondent on 16.05.2023 and the same was not considered. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioners application within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the application will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court. 2/4

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 16.05.2023 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
