The petitioner / wife seeks transfer of HMOP.No.1010 of 2021 on the file of the Sub-Court, Alandur to the Sub-Court, Vaniyambadi. Transfer is sought for solely on the ground of convenience, since the wife is a resident of Vaniyambadi. The husband is a resident of Pallikaranai near Chennai. The distance between two places is roughtly about 200 kilometres. 2.Even though the proceedings are pending before the SubCourt, it is needless to say that the wife will be put to certain amount of inconvenience if the proceedings areheld at Alandur. At the same time, if the proceedings are transferred to Vaniyambadi, the husband will not be put much inconvenience as he need not appear for every hearing in person. He can appear through counsel for non-essential hearings. 3.Hence, this transfer civil miscellaneous petition is allowed, HMOP.No.1010 of 2021 is withdrawn from the file of the Sub-Court, Alandur and transferred to the Sub-Court, Vaniyambadi.
