O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction to the respondent police to register a case pertaining to the petitioner's complaint dated 29.01.2016.

2.Today (26.02.2016), the victim, viz., Sudhakar appeared before this Court and submitted that he was abducted and assaulted. 3.Considering the submissions made by the abducted victim, the respondents are directed to re-open the case in C.S.R.No.59 of 2016 and expedite the enquiry and follow the dictum laid down in Lalitha Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC) and register a case, if any cognizable offence is made out. The petitioner and the abducted victim are directed to co-operate for enquiry and produce all the relevant documents. 4.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
