This petition is filed to condone the delay of 169 days in filing the above Criminal Appeal.

2.Heard the learned counsel for petitioner.

3.Mr.S.Sathish Rajan, learned counsel for respondents 2 to 6 strongly objected to the petition stating that the delay has not been explained and the appeal sought to be filed against the well considered judgment of the trial Court.

4.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition and since the appeal requires to be considered on merits, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, the delay stands condoned and the petition is ordered.
