ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the case in Crime No.237 of 2016 on the file of 1st respondent herein and quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the respondent an FIR in Crime No.237 of 2016 had been registered, for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506 (ii) of IPC r/w Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act 2002. After investigation, the same was closed as 'Further Action Dropped' and final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Thiruvallur on 17.11.2016.
