Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the entire records pursuant to C.C.No.92/14 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Perundurai and quash the same.

O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with the present Criminal Original Petition to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.92/14 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Perundurai for the offences punishable under Sections 417 and 506(i) IPC.

2. During the course of the argument, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that instead of quashing the proceedings, he would be contended even if the Trial Court is directed to dispose of the proceeding in C.C.No.92/2014 at an earlier point of time.

3. At this juncture, it is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that the matter is posted on 02.05.2016 for examination of L.W.1 to L.W.3, out of 13 witnesses.

4. Considering the fair submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Perundurai is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.92/2014, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving fair opportunity to both sides. Further, the first respondent/police is directed to produce the witnesses as and when required by the Court.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
