ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to recognize the petitioner's PG qualification P.G. in specialty paediatrics obtained from the Russian state Medical University Moscow, Russia, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2021 within a time frame fixed by this Honble Court.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has been completed M.D. at Russian State Medical University, MoscowRussia in the year 2003 and also he was completed P.G., in Specialty paediatrics in the same University during the year 2003-2005. Thereafter, the petitioner cleared Special TNPSC medical service Examination and presently he is working as the Additional Chief Medical Officer, Government Hospital, Sholinghur. It is the further case of the petitioner that he has completed PG in Specialty Paediatrics, but he did not allow to work in the specialized department of paediatrics. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the second respondent to recognize his PG qualification in Specialty Paediatrics, which was obtained from the Russian State Medical University, MoscowRussia. However, the same was not considered till date, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2021 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within the stipulated period as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representations will be considered and orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within the stipulated period as fixed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents. Perused the materials available on record.
6. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited request sought for by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation dated 23.06.2021 made by the petitioner and pass an appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
