Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to process the permit application as per the requirements mentioned in Motor Vehicle Act 1988 Section 73 to 74 & Central Motor Vehicle Act 1989 Section 82 to 85A only, allow use to pay the fees, process the application without any unnecessary delays.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondent to process the permit application as per the requirements

mentioned in Motor Vehicle Act 1988 Section 73 to 74 and Central Motor Vehicle Act 1989 Section 82 to 85A only, allow the petitioner to pay the fees, process the application without any unnecessary delays.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner and pass order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
