ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to restore the electricity service connection No.279-003-733 IA.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has obtained electricity connection in his property. Without conducting any enquiry, the service connection was disconnected. Hence, this Court may direct the second respondent to restore the connection to the petitioner property within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the 4th respondent had already been filed a writ petition before this Court in W.P.no.15803 of 2024 and this Court vide its order dated 19.04.2024 issued a direction to the respondents to conduct an enquiry. Pursuant to which, after conducting enquirry, the service connection was 2/4

disconnected on the ground that the petitioner has not produced any admissible documents to prove his title. However, the proper order will be communicated to the petitioner.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, this court directs the second respondent to communicate a copy of the order for disconnection within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.

5. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
