ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the death of the petitioner's uncle viz. Saavi Vellaiyagounder son of Aandigounder and issuing death certificate of the petitioner's uncle viz., Saavi Vellaiyagounder son of Aandigounder based on the petitioner's representation dated 09.08.2024.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that his uncle Saavi Vellaiyagounder, who was unmarried, son of Aandigounder passed away on 10.03.1977 at Thinnanurnadu Village, Kollimalai Taluk, Namakkal District. The petitioner is the rightful successor. The petitioner made a representation before the second respondent to issue death certificate and no action has been taken so far. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the 2/4
petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that an enquiry is going on and the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 09.08.2024 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. 29.08.2024 rli 3/4
