( Civil Appellate Jurisdiction ) Thursday, the Sixth day of August Two Thousand Twenty PRESENT The Hon`ble Mr Justice R.MAHADEVAN CMP.NoS.4038 TO 4040 of 2017 IN AS.NO.97 OF 2017 S.P.LAKSHMI [ PETITIONER IN ALL THE PETITIONS] Vs DR.A.VIJAYA [ RESPONDENT IN ALL THE PETITIONS ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to grant stay of the operation of the judgment and decree dated 27/07/2016 in OS NO.9501 of 2010 on the file of the III Addl Judge, City Civil Court at Chennai (in CMP.4038/2017) pending disposal of the above appeal 97/2017.

(ii) to pass an order of injunction restraining the respondent their men, agents, servants claiming under them from in any manner alienating, encumbering or otherwise dealing with the property bearing door no.23/2 Vethagiri Street, Chintadripet, Chennai 600 002 which is the subject matter in OS NO.9501 of 2010 on the file of the III Additional Judge, City Civil court at Chennai (in CMP.4039/2017) and;

(iii) to direct the respondent to furnish immovable property security to cover the claims to the extent of Rs.50 lakshs to the credit of OS NO.9501 of 2010 on the fie of the III Addl Judge, City Civil court at Chennai (in CMP.No.4040/2017) pending disposal of the above AS.No.97/2017 respectively.

ORDER

These petitions have been filed in the year 2017. Only notice was ordered on 03.03.2017 and no interim order has been granted in these petitions, till now. No useful purpose will be served in keeping these petitions pending at this length of time. Hence these petitions are closed.
