Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.386 of 2015 pending investigation on the file of the Inspector of Police, Peralam, Police Station Thruvarur District.

O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.386 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint and the same was registered in Crime No.386 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 447, 323, 506(i) IPC and 4 of the Women Harassment Act. But, the respondent has not shown any interest to investigate the same and file a final report. Therefore, he has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief. 3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation is going on and hence, he prays for three months time to complete the investigation and file a final report. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Considering the submissions made on both sides, on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, after due enquiry, the case in Crime No.386 of 2015 has been registered as early as on 19.09.2015 for the offences under Sections 147, 447, 323, 506(i) IPC and 4 of the Women Harassment Act. Therefore, the respondent police is directed to investigate the matter as expeditiously as possible and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
