These Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed to extend the time to surrender the petitioners in Crl.M.P.Nos.13830 & 13832 of 2022 in Crl.O.P.No.14434 of 2022 dated 06.09.2022.

2. The Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that this Court while granting extension of time in Crl.M.P.Nos13830 & 13832 of 2022, dated 06.09.2022 directed the petitioners to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) jointly, as cost to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, Chennai and on such payment, the petitioners are directed to surrender and execute the sureties on or before 16.09.2022. Since the order copy was made ready only on 16.09.2022, the petitioners were unable to surrender. Hence, she seeks for further extension of time.

3. Having satisfied with the reason stated in the affidavit filed by the petitioner in support of this petition, these petitioners are permitted to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- jointly, as per the earlier order in Crl.M.P.Nos.13830 & 13832 of 2022 dated 06.09.2022, and on such payment, the petitioners are directed to surrender and execute the sureties within a period of twenty days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order .

4. With the above direction, both the Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are allowed.
