This petition is filed to quash the order passed in a petition pending private complaint filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent has submitted that on the private complaint made in C.C.No.2726 of 2006, the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai has passed judgment on 16.06.2014 and convicted the accused and the counsel filed a memo to that effect.

3. Recording the above said submission and memo dated 07.09.2017, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
