Prayer : Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to direct the respondent No.2 to file the final report in Crime No.1169 of 2020 dated 07.11.2020 and proceed with the same as per law within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to file a final report in Crime No.1169 of 2020 dated 07.11.2020.

2.The petitioner/ defacto complainant lodged a complaint to the second respondent police and on receipt of the same, a case in Crime No.1169 of 2020 was registered on 07.11.2020 for an offence under Section 420 IPC. Thereafter, no action has been taken. Hence, the above petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submits that on the complaint of the petitioner, case was registered on 07.11.2020, thereafter, during investigation, the petitioner and the three others have been examined and the case is civil in nature. been closed as "Further Action dropped". Though the closure report has been made ready on 12.12.2020, the same is yet to be filed before the concerned Court.

4.In view of the same, the respondent police is directed to serve a copy of closure report to the petitioner /defacto complaint and thereafter, the Further Action dropped report to be filed before the concerned Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Perambalur. The Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Perambalur to give opportunity to hear the petitioner, if the petitioner intents to file a protest petition and make his submission. 5.With the above direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
