.. Respondents This case came up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. The learned counsel for the appellant Mr.J.Michael Visuvasam and the learned counsel for the first respondent, Ms.V. Menaka are present. The second and third respondents are ex-parte before the trial Court. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows: TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Both sides counsel are present. The respondent present.

2. The appellant insurance company had already deposited Rs.3,25,707/- inclusive of interest and cost as awarded by the Tribunal. Now on appeal, they themselves settled for Rs.2,00,032/- as full quit. Hence the balance amount of Rs.1,25,675/- (Rupees One lakh Twenty-Five Thousand and Six Hundred and Seventy-Five only) from the above deposited amount has to be refunded to the appellant / insurance company.
