The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to set aside the order in CRL.M.P.No.8552 of 2016 in STC.No.3669 of 2013 dated 03.12.2016, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Mannargudi.
2.It is seen that when the matter was posted on 10.01.2017, private notice ordered to the respondent returnable in two weeks. On 24.01.2017, for filing of AOS posted to 09.02.2017. On 09.02.2017, there was no representation for the petitioner and posted the case for dismissal on 07.03.2017. Thereafter, for the past two years, the learned counsel for the petitioner has not taken any steps to list the matter. It shows that the petitioner has no interest to pursue the matter. Further, it is pending for more than two years. Now after the lapse of two years period, this petition cannot be considered and this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. However, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.

3.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
