Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to issue direction to the 3rd respondent for further investigation in Crime No.406 of 2012 on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 23.07.2012, under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police, Thiruvannamalai District and file the additional final report within the stipulated period.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the 3rd respondent for further investigation in Crime No.406 of 2012 on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 23.07.2012, under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police, Thiruvannamalai District, and to file an additional final report, within a stipulated period.

2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police submits that the FIR in Crime No.406 of 2012 has been closed as 'mistake of facts' on 28.08.2012. 3.Hence, the prayer sought for in the present petition has become infructuous. However, the 3rd respondent is directed to file a final report before the appropriate Judicial Magistrate Court, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after service of RCS notice to the de facto complainant.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
