Respondent Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the Lr.No.3871/Election/2021-2 dated 1204-2021 issued by the respondent herein and quash the same and consequently, to direct the respondent herein to initiate appropriate action for allocating the post of the Chairman of the Thirunindravur Town Panchayat as one reserved for the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe candidates, either women or men, in the ensuing local bodies elections, in adherence to Article 243-T of the Constitution of India and section 3-W-4(a) of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920.
